Water supply system

Drainage System

- The design includes U-ditch concrete rainwater drainage channels, with widths ranging from 1 to 4 meters along the roadways within the project area. The rainfall-runoff volume in the area, after the project implementation, has been calculated, and one rainwater retention pond is planned with a total storage capacity of 254,472 CBM., which is sufficient to accommodate the runoff water from the area.

Water Supply

- Raw water will be supplied by the Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited, at a rate of 7,000 CBM. per day. The rainwater retention pond has a total storage capacity of 254,472 CBM., and additional supply will come from the Provincial Waterworks Authority, Pattaya Branch (Special Class).

Water Supply System

- The water production system utilizes sedimentation, filtration, and pressurized water distribution, with a maximum production capacity of 6,700 CBM. per day. The anticipated water demand for the project is approximately 6,672 CBM. per day.

Wastewater Treatment System

- The central wastewater treatment system employs an Activated Sludge process, with a maximum treatment capacity of approximately 5,600 CBM. per day. The anticipated volume of wastewater to be processed is approximately 5,337 CBM. per day. The project aims to recycle treated water for industrial use, approximately 18% of the incoming wastewater, and to reuse it for irrigation, approximately 9.38%. The remaining treated water will then be discharged into a public canal.

Waste Disposal System

- Solid waste and sewage will be managed by local authorities, while industrial waste will be handled by licensed waste disposal agencies authorized by the Department of Industrial Works. An integrated industrial waste management center will be established for the project.

Road system

- Main Road: The main road has a right-of-way width of 36 meters,with a reinforced concrete pavement of 10 meters wide, consisting of 4 traffic lanes. The median strip is 3 meters wide, with 3-meter-wide bicycle lanes on each side.

- Subordinate Road: The sub-road has a right-of-way width of 24 meters,  with a reinforced concrete pavement of 4.5 meters wide, consisting of 2 traffic lanes.

Communication System

- Using an underground high-speed communication network provided by National Telecommunications Public Company Limited (NT).

Electricity Supply System

- The Provincial Electricity Authority of Jomtien will supply electricity to the project at a voltage of 115 kV, entering the projects substation. The systems total electrical load capacity is approximately 100 MW.

Fire Protection System

- The fire suppression system will be equipped with wet barrel hydrants, with a distance of 150 meters between each hydrant. The diameter of the pipe leading to each hydrant will be no less than 150 millimeters, with the outlet nozzle being 65 millimeters in diameter. Additionally, two water gates will be installed, and fire truck access will be provided according to NFPA standards.

Project Status: Declared an industrial area on October 16, 2024
Project Development Period: Approximately 3 years, expected to commence operations in 2026, following the declaration of the industrial zone.
Project Development Concept: The development concept of the Hermes Industrial Estate Project involves designing public utilities systems and facilities according to the standards and conditions specified by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), and targeting industries that utilize advanced technology and environmentally friendly production processes, as well as promoting industries that drive future economic growth (New Engine of Growth).
Project Highlights: The project aims to foster a group of industries that will drive future economic growth in particular clean industries that use technology. Additionally, the project is strategically located in a prime location with excellent logistical potential within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
